Chairman Tim Clifton has over 40 years mining and corporate experience as a geologist and company director. Tim has a long association with Strike Energy and is now a substantial shareholder. He was appointed to the Board on 13 August 2008 and appointed Chairman on 19 August 2010. |

Managing Director David Wrench has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from the University of Sydney. He has worked in Australia and North America with Macquarie Bank, Credit Suisse and Chase Manhattan Bank, gaining commercial experience in the precious metals, base metals and energy markets segments. David was a co-founder and Director of coal seam gas pioneer CH4 Gas Limited and has been a Director of a number of private resource companies. David was appointed to the Board on 29 October 1998 and assumed the role of Managing Director on 1 October 2011. |

Non-Executive Director Simon Ashton has over 30 years experience in the Australian and international petroleum and resources industries. He spent over 20 years with WMC Limited (WMC), holding various positions in the nickel, coal and petroleum divisions. Amongst other things, Simon established WMC's USA petroleum subsidiary, Greenhill Petroleum, where he served as Senior Vice President in Houston, Texas. Simon co-founded Strike Energy in 1997 and served as Managing Director until 30 September 2011. |

General Manager - Cooper Basin Chris Thompson has 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with qualifications in both geology and reservoir engineering. Commencing work at Oil Company of Australia in 1992, Chris completed a Grad. Dip in Reservoir Evaluation and Management in 1994 and subsequently worked as a reservoir engineer for Schlumberger from 1995 to 1997. After joining Oil Search in 1997 Chris’ responsibilities grew to include reserves, field development planning and production for various fields in Papua New Guinea. Chris joined Novus Petroleum in 2002 as Senior Reservoir Engineer and was transferred to the USA in 2003 where he worked on fields offshore Gulf of Mexico and onshore Louisiana and Texas. Chris continued to work in the USA at Leed Petroleum from 2006 as Business Development Manager with technical, commercial and managerial responsibilities prior returning to Australia in 2010 as Principal Petroleum Engineer at Origin Energy where he built Origin’s upstream division portfolio planning and ranking system. Chris joined Strike in September 2012 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Strike’s Cooper Basin assets. |

Manager of Exploration and Environment Don Poynton joined Strike Energy in 1997 after working for 25 years in technical and management roles with GSI, Burmah/Woodside, Mesa and WMC Resources. Don served as Exploration Manager with WMC for eight years and spent two years with WMC´s subsidiary in the USA, Greenhill Petroleum where he worked alongside the principals of Cypress E&P, the operator's of Strike Energy's joint venture in the USA. Don received a BSc. Hons degree from the Australian National University in 1971 and since that time has been involved in petroleum exploration and production in most of Australia's onshore and offshore basins and various basins of the USA. Outside of work Don has a keen interest in the environment and is a committee member of several community groups. |

Manager of Geoscience Rob Weeden has over 30 years experience in both the mineral and petroleum industries. Rob began work as a mine geologist in 1977 at Rosebery, Tasmania. His petroleum career commenced in 1984 with WMC Resources Petroleum Division where he had various roles including Senior Explorationist and Regional Exploration Manager - Canning Basin. Rob also spent two years with Greenhill Petroleum - WMC´s subsidiary in the USA - where he worked on redevelopment of old fields in the Permian Basin, West Texas and offshore Louisiana. On his return to Australia in 1993 Rob worked offshore exploration on the North West Shelf in Western Australia and then as a Petroleum Analyst for WMC´s International New Ventures mainly in South America. In 1997, Rob joined Strike Energy where he is currently responsible for geotechnical evaluation of Strike's interests in the Carnarvon and Cooper Basins, Australia and the Gulf Coast, Texas, USA. |
